The terms 'Charity' or 'Solidarity' will not always work in India if the social sentiments are not taken into consideration. Billions of dollars are given for charity but the graph of social development is not rising up in many project fields.
Mindset of the marginalized in India has a special frequency but often go un noticed, draining all this money into non-productivity.
CRT - SAD is a developing think-tank and a training unit, being constituted as a research centre where the theory and practice work under one umbrella.
Social FACT has a deep penetrating, action oriented network in the region. The style, resources and method of major NGO's differs to the minor ones including Social FACT. It will be truth alone, to say 'many of the numerous small NGO's in India are focus less and blindly follow their larger counter parts or just the instruction of funding agencies which seldom make any right impact.
There are several elements interlaced in a development project that are socially sensitive but generally ignored when its components are tailored. This ignorance tempts the people just to take the peripheral benefits and walk away instead of cooperating with the heart of the program. Such projects are success only in paper to satisfy the donors where the fund is just utilized.
Social FACT is small in size with limited funds and want the right and contextually viable methods that gives optimum results to be in action. Being 'people focused' we want to integrate academic intelligence with the practical experience for the people's benefit. Indigenous methods that speak the heart language of the people and the responses to their real interests need to be evolved. Their fingerprints in the course of action is further more important!
CRT-SAD is helping Social FACT to rightly conceive the vision of the donor agency along with a right understanding of the need of the local society and bridge gaps with the elements of infra requirements, social sentiments and sensitivity. As CRT-SAD develop, any agency can make use of its service!
Academic team is being evolved. Issues and needs are being identified. Field teams are getting ready for a trial. It is a pure academic and training unit and does not solicit or implement development projects.

Sponsor administrative needs: It's not initiated by a funding agency and thereby we have limitations and pressing needs to constitute and run the program.
The estimated need of funds in 2010 is US$ 3500

Training of MT's and LT's: 2 MT Trainings and 6 LT trainings are planned in 2010 which require US$ 1800. 40% is allocated with the funds from the concerned projects of Social FACT.
